What is SASGO ?
Welcome to the South African Society of Gynaecologic Oncology (SASGO) our objectives are to provide a forum for the discussion of problems relating to specific gynecologic cancers and to improve knowledge and provide a forum for exchange of views on oncologic problems in general. We also wish to establish registries where necessary and arrange
collaborative multi-center trials. |
As a new Association we encourage members to register where-after we will supply a user name and password to access the secure section.
The site will become our key information source with a range of value added services such as:
- A free sms service
- Full text online journals
- Case Studies and
- Discussion boards.

Full membership
Gynaecologic oncologists registered with HPCSA in that capacity as subspecialists, or eligible for such registration
Associate Membership
Persons involved in health care interested in gynaecologic oncology. This category includes fellows in training, general gynaecologists as well as other health workers in related disciplines (of note: radiation oncology, medical oncology, anatomical pathology and clinical pathology).
Honorary Members
This will be offered from time to time to persons who have made and important contribution to the field of gynaecologic oncology
