Categories:

• Full members: Gynaecologic oncologists registered with HPCSA in that capacity as subspecialists, or eligible for such registration



• Associate members: Persons involved in health care interested in gynaecologic oncology. This category includes fellows in training, general gynaecologists as well as other health workers in related disciplines (of note: radiation oncology, medical oncology, anatomical pathology and clinical pathology).



• Honorary members: This will be offered from time to time to persons who have made and important contribution to the field of gynaecologic oncology

Obtaining membership

Eligible persons can apply or be nominated for full membership. In cases of doubt about eligibility for full membership the final decision rests with the executive committee of SASGO.

Associate membership is available to all interested applicants or nominated persons.

Decisions on honorary membership will be taken at General Meetings of SASGO.
